The Journey Begins

This is Susie and I's first blog and this is some of our story.... Around the beginning of November 2008 Susie and I found out that we are going to be parents! We were thrilled, anxious, nervous, overwhelmed, and scared all at one time. We went to our first doctors appointment at St. John's on 11/22/08 when Susie was 8 1/2 weeks. We heard the heart beat and saw our little peanut for the first time. Our second appointment was on 12/20/08 at 12 1/2 weeks and we got a bunch of pictures to show everyone. Our little Peanut continues to grow. In one of the pictures, Peanut was sucking it's thumb with one hand while the other hand was raised up and relaxed behind it's head. It was very cute! The doctors have told us that our due date is going to be 6/29/09. So we have about 6 months and counting. Susie has been pretty blessed so far, she has just been tired and needed some naps during the day......
