So, I know this post is about a week and a half late...but time seems to be flying these days! Back on the 9th, Aaron and I went to our OB's office, which was exactly 20 weeks for Peanut, and let's state the obvious...had our 20 week ultrasound. Little Peanut is definitely going to be a gymnist or in Cirque du Soleil. At the beginning of the ultrasound, Peanut had one arm and one leg over it's head, with the other leg tucked into the abdomen all while trying to suck it's thumb with the other arm. Then by the end, Peanut had both legs and one arm over it's head...still trying to suck it's thumb! It was adorable! You could see Peanut's arm going back and forth as it tried to get that darn thumb in his/her mouth. The tech asked me if I could feel Peanut moving around and at the time I couldn't. But...I was driving around about a week later and I could feel what felt like a light drum beat on the inside of my belly...and I knew without a doubt that that was our little baby moving around inside of me. I like to sing...a lot...like when I'm driving around, gazing at my Aaron, to Caz, and to Riley, our 90 lb lab, or really anytime...so Peanut's probably just jamming out in my belly. :) So, back to Peanut...b/c of all the acrobatics done at the 20 week ultrasound, our OB couldn't get a good look at it's abdomen. What this means is we get to have another ultrasound in about 2 weeks, which is clearly a plus for us! If Peanut would have been sleeping peacefully and everything went as textbook planned, we wouldn't have gotten another look at the baby until June. So, give us another 2 weeks and we'll have more pics to show you and hopefully/prayerfully, I'll get them up in a timely manner!
